Sea Turtle Encounter

  • When: Monday through Friday 
  • Time: 3:15 p.m. 
  • Overview: Participants will receive a 15-minute lesson about sea turtles and how we can all conserve them, followed by the opportunity to watch our educator feed Oklahoma’s most beloved loggerhead sea turtle! This animal encounter lasts 30 minutes.
  • Cost: $25 per person ($20 for members) plus admission
  • Minimum of 2 participants per group; maximum of 6 participants per encounter

Guidelines:

  • Guests must arrive 10 minutes prior to start time to sign a waiver of participation. This program begins promptly at 3:15 p.m.
  • No strollers or wheelchairs (all participants must be able to climb a flight of stairs without assistance). 
  • No food or beverage will be permitted while behind the scenes. 
  • We recommend participants be at least 48 inches tall for optimal viewing. 
  • Participants will not be permitted to touch the sea turtle during the encounter (feeding will take place without physical contact). 
  • Any participants aged 12 and under must be accompanied by another paying adult participant (18 years or older).
