Campers will spend the day alongside aquarium staff learning about the animals and their care. With introductory microscopy, comprehensive behind-the-scenes tours, and animal feeding and handling opportunities, campers will get a well-rounded introduction to the worlds of wildlife biology and animal husbandry.

Campers will learn about:

  • Sharks and shark conservation
  • Coral reefs and reef conservation
  • Animal adaptations
  • How to use a microscope
  • How we care for and feed our animals

Guidelines for campers:

  • Participation is limited to ages 7-11 (at time of the camp)
  • Participants are expected to bring a lunch
  • Participants must wear close-toed shoes
  • We strongly recommend that participants wear their camp t-shirt (distributed upon arrival)
  • A parent/guardian must come inside during drop-off to sign a waiver
  • Cell phones and cameras are allowed, unless camp instructors indicate otherwise
  • Participants are expected to wear masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19*
